SAIC, a leading innovator in Artificial Intelligence and Data Services, is currently seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master to join our dynamic AI & Data Services Team. This role offers the flexibility of full-time telework, accommodating any qualified candidate within the United States.

The Senior Scrum Master will be an integral figure in steering the operational momentum of ongoing projects while serving as a crucial conduit between project management, the execution team, and upper management. This individual will be expected to exhibit a mastery of Agile methodologies to enhance team efficiency, deliver superior results, and uphold client satisfaction.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Proficient in industry standard Agile tools and software
• Knowledge of agile frameworks and methodologies (i.e., Scrum, Kanban)
• Lead and coordinate key scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
• Drive team accountability for deliverables and ensure projects adhere to established timelines
• Implement and refine Agile methodologies tailored to the team’s needs and project goals
• Cultivate a collaborative environment that fosters creativity, innovation, and continuous improvement
• Act as the primary point of contact for project status, facilitating transparent communication between all stakeholders
• Anticipate and troubleshoot project bottlenecks, developing action plans to address them promptly
• Guide team members in Agile principles and foster an environment of learning and growth
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and how it integrates with Agile practices
• Align project deliverables with business objectives, quality standards, and client expectations

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Must be a US citizen.
• A Bachelor's degree with six (6) or more years of experience, or a Master’s degree with four (4) or more years in product and project development. Four (4) additional years of professional experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• Strong background in Agile practices, with a proven track record of successful project delivery within these frameworks.
• Experience facilitating effective meetings across various levels of an organization and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
• Advanced knowledge and application of facilitation techniques tailored to project needs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and proficiency in Agile project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent.

Desired Qualifications:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification highly regarded
• Familiarity with AI and data service-related projects
• Extensive knowledge of both traditional project management practices and agile project management methodologies
• Experience in coaching and mentoring teams towards high performance
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Target salary range: $80,001 - $120,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
