Job Description:

This role involves supporting the editorial processes for mathematics education content in a nationally published journal. Duties include attending weekly editorial team meetings, reading and summarizing manuscripts, copy editing, collaborating with other assistants to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with educational and journal standards.

• Participate in weekly editorial meetings
• Read, review, and summarize submitted mansucripts to determine alignment with journal standards
• Assist in the preparation, review, and editing of math education manuscripts
• Conduct fact and reference checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in citaitons and claims

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics or Curriculum and Instruction with a mathematics emphasis

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's or Doctoral Degree
