Job Description



This position will support the US Department of Veterans Affairs Critical Staffing Program. The person in this position will represent International SOS and provide services outlined below: 

International SOS is looking for an individual who is an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide comprehensive mental and behavioral health care for VA members and their families. The Clinical Psychologist assesses and treats mental health disorders through therapy and counseling, utilizing various psychological techniques to help individuals cope with emotional, behavioral, and psychological challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions. 
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. 
  • Provide evidence-based therapy and counseling to individuals, couples, and groups. 
  • Monitor and record client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary. 
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and support for clients. 
  • Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards. 
  • Stay updated on current research and best practices in clinical psychology. 
  • Educate clients and families about mental health issues and treatment options. 
  • Provide crisis intervention and support in emergency situations. 
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to enhance clinical skills. 

Qualifications



Basic Requirements/Certifications:   

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. 

Education Required: 

  • A doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) directly related to work in clinical psychology. 

Physical Requirements:  

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment. 
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time. 
  • May require bending, stooping and lifting up to 15 lbs.

  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English to effectively communicate. 
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident Card is required. 
  • Pass/possess VA Public Trust Clearance.

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data. 

Compensation| Min: $92hr Max: $121hr 

Benefits – Full-time positions are eligible for our comprehensive and competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance.
