The Visual Merchandising Manager creates, develops, and implements all visual merchandising programs. Leads the design of in-store visual displays in support of the organization's sales objections. Being a Visual Merchandising Manager creates effective displays and shopping experience to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction. Visits store locations in an assigned region to communicate merchandising strategy and ensure quality of display implementations. You will be responsible for driving consistency, quality, and sophistication in the visual merchandising implementation across all product categories within the store while reporting to the Director of Visual Merchandising.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual Merchandising Strategy: Develop and execute the in-store visual merchandising strategy to elevate the client experience and drive sales.
  • Product Display: Manage all aspects of store zoning and rotations in collaboration with the store team. Ensure key products are selected and well-displayed to maximize business opportunities.
  • Window Installations: Lead window product changes and installations, including coordination with corporate and local suppliers.
  • Event Collaboration: Collaborate with the store team on business events, including sales trends, new launches, new collections, and special events.
  • Team Training: Train the store team on visual merchandising topics to ensure high standards of implementation.
  • Feedback and Communication: Provide regular qualitative feedback to Director of VMM
  • Travel: you will travel to select events and visual installations to oversee projects and assist with the execution whether they be showroom openings, renovations, and/or high-profile projects.
  • Trends: Keeping up with new retail trends, staying up-to-date with new consumer behaviors, balancing company brand guidelines with new creative ideas, working within tight budgets and timelines.
  • Report directly to the Director of Merchandising to execute visual implementations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previously held a senior-level or multi-unit Visual Merchandising Management role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Experience leading visual execution in a fast-paced retail environment, preferably luxury.
  • Visual Merchandising Expertise: Expert knowledge in implementing visual merchandising strategies and standards, window installations, and experience across different product categories.
  • Skills: Strong communication skills to work cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and sales teams, creativity to develop innovative visual displays, understanding of marketing and branding principles, attention to detail, and project management skills.
