Job Description

Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is seeking a STRUCTURAL ENGINEER with 4 - 10 years of experience for our office in Towson, Maryland. The employee in this position will work on an ever-changing mix of projects, which could include buildings, retaining walls, bridges and telecommunication facilities (towers, water tanks, buildings/rooftops, foundations and antenna mounts). Outstanding oral and written communication skills are essential. Remote work may be considered for experienced candidates outside the state, based on individual circumstances.

Successful candidates will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • E.I.T. or PE a plus (although not required)
  • Past experience with structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, and wood structures
  • Experience and proficiency working in AutoCAD and the RISA Suite (including RISA-3D, RISA Foundation, and RISA Connection)
  • Experience with tnxTower, Enercalc, L-Pile, and Excel are a plus.
  • Desire to review, redline, and coach other engineers and designers work product to ensure accurate engineering deliverables
  • Aspiration to serve as the Engineer of Record on products as appropriate

Salary Range: $85,000 to $130,000 depending on experience
