**The Opportunity**
As a Soccer Coordinator/Host, your main goal is to transform league nights into the highlight of the week for our members. You will play a vital role in fostering an exciting and welcoming atmosphere, leading activities on the field, and truly embodying the spirit of our community. With your natural enthusiasm, you'll ensure that every player has a great time—whether that involves organizing a league trophy, setting the right vibe with music, or sparking a friendly game after the match. Your presence helps maintain the rules of the game while also overseeing event logistics, from setup to teardown.
**What You'll Do: Make Fun Possible!**
- Create a vibrant and fun atmosphere for all players.
- Manage nightly operations for sports leagues, including setting up and breaking down fields, refereeing, assisting with equipment transportation, tracking scores, and communicating with players.
- Be the friendly face of our community and ensure a welcoming spirit at every event.
**What You Bring to the Field:**

- Experience playing or refereeing soccer.
- A creative, energetic, and engaging personality.
- Ability to build relationships and foster community.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An enthusiastic and outgoing attitude.
- Quick thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- A positive and adaptable approach to customer interactions.
- Referee licensing or accreditation is a bonus, but not required.
**Requirements for Coordinators/Hosts:**
- Commitment to the full season (typically 6-8 weeks).
- Arrive at scheduled games 30 minutes early and engage with players at the sponsor bar after games.
- Ability to update scores nightly (smartphone required).
- Foster a hospitable environment and provide oversight and cheerleading during games.
- Attend New Hire Orientation and League Training.
- Send at least one weekly email to communicate any changes, game times, news, or upcoming events (if serving as the sole host).
- Maintain the league equipment bag throughout the season (for coordinators).
