Job Description

Advanced Scope is hiring an Occupational Therapist to join a Pediatric private clinic in Chicago, Illinois. This is a privately owned clinic with work/life balance, offering a 40 hour work week with 30-32 patient hours, and 8-10 hours of documentation and admin time. What You'll Do:

• Use evidence based practices to guide interventions and implement appropriate treatment sessions 
• Develop comprehensive plans of care that set up clients for progress in identified area(s) of concerns 
• Be proficient in understanding of appropriate and safe use of therapeutic tools and equipment, including but not limited to swings, sensory equipment, neurological equipment, and other equipment related to occupational therapy 
• Provide screenings to families to determine need for evaluation 
• Possess ability to confidently treat a range of ages and diagnoses and independently seek support when needed 
• Adhere to HIPAA policy to ensure maintained privacy and confidentiality of client protected health information (PHI)

Who You Are:  

• Possess advanced Occupational Rherapy degree (MOT or OTD) 
• Hold active occupational therapy licensure through the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) 
• Hold active OTR status with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) 

Breakdown of Hours:

• Total weekly hours: 40 hours
• Base non-clinical time: 8 hours
• Treatment capacity: 32 hours
• Productivity goal: 27-32 treatment hours  (85-100% of treatment capacity, based on an expected client cancellation rate of 15%)

Pay: $72,000 - $75,000 + Bonus 

Productivity Bonus:  Full-time therapists are eligible 90 days from start date to earn monthly productivity bonuses for additional earning opportunities. Below is a table that breaks down the bonus tiers.  Productivity % =  actual visits / treatment capacity  (not calculated from total weekly hours). For whichever tier is achieved, the therapist earns the corresponding % of their monthly earnings from that month.
