Lead a team of analysts to deliver insights and solutions in payment analytics, enhancing customer experiences.
As a Quantitative Analysts Manager within the Payments Analytics team, you will lead a group of talented analysts to support Payments Product Owners. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics. Your work will involve data mining, reporting, and data transformation to enhance the management of payment platforms. Play a crucial role in writing complex queries and developing applications on large database platforms like DB2, SQL, and AWS.
In this role, champion data and analytics best practices across the Payments organization. Partner with various lines of business and the broader Data & Analytics community to understand business needs and translate them into data models that support long-term solutions. Your expertise will help facilitate holistic, cross-functional learning and knowledge dissemination.
Job Responsibilities: - Lead a team of analysts supporting Payments Product Owners.
- Champion data and analytics best practices across the Payments organization.
- Understand and translate business needs into data models supporting long-term solutions.
- Facilitate the creation of data models using best practices to ensure high data quality and reduced redundancy.
- Partner with the LOB and broader D&A organization to understand business requirements and objectives.
- Create solutions to combine data from multiple sources for analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Experience managing analysts.
- Intermediate knowledge of SQL and Alteryx.
- Experience with Hadoop, Teradata, Oracle, and Cloud databases.
- Ability to explain and convert complex concepts into digestible information for diverse audiences.
- Degree in a quantitative or related field.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: - Master's degree with 2+ years of analytics experience.
- Functional industry experience in operations, marketing, credit/risk, technology, or finance.
- Intermediate knowledge of Machine Learning.
