Our client is a Minnesota company who manufactures and markets many branded consumer products. Their history dates back to the mid 1800s.

Our client has an opportunity on the 2 nd shift for Machine Operator / Food Lab Technicians . In this role the Technician will be involved in basic equipment set up for sanitation and running equipment for trials.

• Safely operate equipment
• Perform risk assessments
• Perform basic analytical tests; troubleshooting as needed
• Equipment sanitation and basic equipment set up activities

Salary: $21/ hr (6month contract)

Schedule: MonFri 2 nd shift (2pm 10pm) OT as needed (Training on 1 st shift)

Qualifications

• High School Degree Required!
• 35 years of directly relatable experience and / or 2Year Degree Preferred!
• Comfortable working in a food processing plant / environment
• Comfortable operating equipment / machine operator experience
• Previous experience in a food processing laboratory foodservice environment
• Ability to be flexible with work schedule for Training and Production needs (training is on first shift then transitions to assigned shift)
• Ability to work OT as needed before and after your shift (approx. 4 hours)
• Ability to work weekends as needed
• Ability to manage multiple competing priorities
• Collaborative Team Player
• Basic computer/technology skills (MSOffice Products etc)
• Skills to be successful SelfStarter Critical Thinker ProblemSolving Communication Conflict Resolution and Relationship building skills
• Basic understanding of food safety and human safety
• Ability to lift and transport ingredients or equipment up to 55lbs
• Ability to work in hot/ warm climate conditions
• Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer
• The position is subject to passing a background check and drug screen

**This position involves potential exposure to common allergens including but not limited to milk eggs fish shellfish tree nuts peanuts wheat soybeans and sesame.**
