Job Description

Food Quality Assurance Technician

Are you passionate about ensuring the highest quality standards in the food industry? We are seeking a Food Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at our facility in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Overview:

The Food Quality Assurance Technician will be responsible for conducting quality inspections, maintaining records, and communicating with team members to ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders
  • Collaborate with production team to address quality issues and implement corrective actions
  • Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance procedures

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in quality inspection
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality assurance principles
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
