Hey there! I'm Ken, and my company (kenwalksdogs.com) is seeking part-time Dog Walkers and Overnight Pet Sitters to join our dynamic, fun-loving team!

This position is an hourly W2 employee role (NOT a 1099 independent contractor position!). Training begins at $15/hour plus tips, mileage reimbursement, commission, and weekly bonus opportunities. All employees are eligible for an automatic wage increase after 90 days of employment.

• Swimming lessons and puppy pool parties

• Visits to State Parks and nature hikes
• Fun events for our human clients (because they deserve a treat too!)

What You’ll Do:
Your daily tasks will be assigned via our mobile app ("Ken Walks Dogs" on App Store). Services range from quick potty breaks to field trips, pool parties, and neighborhood walks. You’ll provide updates, route maps, and Instagram-worthy photos and videos to keep pet parents in the loop.

In addition to dog walking, our employees are trained for multiple roles, including pet sitting, pet taxi services, event hosting, and training assistance. You’ll have opportunities to work across different positions, expanding your skills and making every day unique!

Requirements to Join Our Team:

• Pass a background check (criminal and driving record)
• Have a reliable, insured vehicle that can accommodate a dog (or two!)
• Own a smartphone with a good camera for capturing pet moments
• Have hands-on experience with dogs (fostering, volunteering, pet sitting, or similar roles)

Hours & Availability:
We’re currently hiring for:

• Dog walking shifts:
  • Monday–Friday: 8am–12pm, 10am–3pm, or 12pm–6pm
  • Saturday–Sunday: 10am–3pm
• Overnight pet sitting: Available in your home or client homes

We’ve proudly served South-Central Austin since 2018, expanding to the greater Austin area in 2022. Most clients are in the same neighborhood, but occasional 20-minute drives may be needed. Travel time is always paid, and we offer mileage reimbursement to keep your earnings steady.
