Due to growth, Hays + Sons is seeking a Carpenter in the Lafayette, IN area.

If you have carpentry experience, general roofing knowledge, tolerance of heights, basic framing skills, and a valid driver’s license , we want to hear from you! Restoration experience is a plus!

Responsibilities:

• Perform temporary repairs as per procedures
• Complete warranty processes
• Demo and frame structures
• Maintain neat job sites following OSHA guidelines
• Install cabinets and trim
• Set and trim doors and windows
• Perform painting and drywall repair
• Document all jobs with photos
• Keep inventory of tools in the vehicle
• Respond to emergency work promptly
• Assist project manager as needed
• Participate in weekly on-call rotation
• Accurately log time for labor costs
• Support water department for demo jobs
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of company vehicle
• Comply with DOT regulations
