Job Description

Mobius Mobility manufactures, distributes, and services the ibot® Personal Mobility Device. The ibot® PMD is an innovative, multi-modal powered wheelchair that provides its users with new levels of mobility and independence. We are hiring Assistive Technology Professionals in multiple regions, to educate and support local wheelchair clinics and provide fitting and trainings to ibot® users. At Mobius, we are committed to helping our clients reach, climb, and go – wherever and whenever they choose.

Summary:
The Mobius Mobility clinical team is primarily responsible for providing in-services and support for wheelchair clinics and training users in the safe and effective operation of the ibot® PMD. ATP’s are external, customer facing representatives of the Mobius Mobility brand, striving for clinical excellence, business development, and providing best-in-class training and support.

Education/ Certifications: 
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Technology or health related degree. 
  • Must have a valid and current ATP Certification via RESNA. 
  • Valid and current Driver License
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will reside in Florida or be willing to relocate to Florida.
  • Experience with user population that can include individuals with disabilities
  • Minimum of 1-3-years’ experience as an ATP working in rehab technology in a Rehabilitation Facility, Clinic, Durable Medical Equipment (DME) dealer, or other applicable environment.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and exhibiting a strong work ethic
  • Must have current working knowledge with MS Office.  Experience with Salesforce CRM also preferred
  • Must be willing and able to travel 50%- 75% of the year as needed. Most travel will be within Florida.
Responsibilities:
  • Identify wheelchair clinics with patient populations that are appropriate for the ibot® PMD. Conduct in-services, training, and follow-up as needed to generate territory growth
  • Demonstrate use of the ibot® PMD to ensure that the product will be appropriate for the user (and caregiver, if applicable)
  • Support users’ clinicians in the seating and mobility assessments that they conduct for prospective iBOT® users. Conduct home assessments as needed
  • Review seating specifications and orders provided by users’ clinicians
  • Timely completion of documentation for patient visits, reports to physicians regarding patient clinical progress, insurance reimbursement, and regulatory compliance
  • Lead the delivery of the ibot®, ensure proper fitting of equipment, conduct user training and review training results, with an eye to meeting user and caregiver mobility needs
  • Evaluate and recommend updates of products and services offered by the company
  • Provide communication with users, clinics and external partners, as a part of training, service, or troubleshooting, either via phone or in person
  • Transferring clients properly in and of mobility devices, and operating applicable transfer equipment correctly
  • Work collaboratively with company operations and service teams to ensure equipment configuration, delivery and follow-through
  • Attend and support trade shows and industry events as needed
  • Adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Adheres to Rehabilitation Engineering and Assisted Technology Society of North America’s (RESNA) Code of Ethics
General:
  • Participate in surveys conducted by authorized inspection agencies.
  • Participate in the company’s Performance Improvement Program
  • Participate in company committees when requested
  • Participate in in-service education programs provided by the company
  • Pursue continuing education programs appropriate to job responsibilities
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management
  • Report any misconduct, suspicious or unethical activities to the Compliance Officer, FDA Management Rep., Safety Officer or HIPAA Officer as appropriate
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to complete all tasks that require the use of a computer and office equipment
  • Ability to move throughout the building and grounds and communicate with employees, customers and others
  • Ability to travel by ground and air
  • Ability to move items weighing up to 30 lbs.
